Further changes are coming to the 2020/2021 Budget.

The Second Supplementary Estimates will be tabled this afternoon in the House of  Representatives.

On May 13, Finance Minister Dr. Nigel Clarke, tabled the First Supplementary Estimates.

The figures showed that the budget had been been revised to J$838.1 billion down from $853.4 billion.

The recurrent budget was increased from $779 billion to $792 billion, while the capital expenditure was reduced from $74 billion to $46 billion.

Dr. Clarke said the reduction resulted from the impact of  the COVID-19 pandemic.
