On April 22, 2013, my 2008 Toyota RAV 4 motor vehicle was hit by a Ford truck while exiting the Rock Bridge in Falmouth, Trelawny. The truck driver did not wait for me to clear the bridge before entering, and therefore hit the rear of my vehicle, causing extensive damage. A police sergeant who was first on the scene marked the position of the tyres and told me that I had nothing to worry about, as the driver of the truck was definitely wrong.
I went to the Falmouth Police Station and made a report. I was later given a report by the police to take to my insurance company, JN General Insurance. My insurance company sent a claim to Guardian General Insurance Co. Ltd. (Ameco Caribbean/Desnoes & Geddes Ltd.) that the truck driver was insured with.
