More than $54 billion has been invested in the tourist sector since 2012, Tourism Minister Dr Wykeham McNeill said today.

McNeill said the investments in the sector represent part of a surge which he said will lead to the generation of thousands of new jobs in both the construction phase and permanently.  This he said will ensure growth in tourism and growth in the economy for years to come.
