Minor quake felt in Jamaica

A minor earthquake measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale was felt in Jamaica at 7:43 last evening.

The Earthquake Unit at the University of the West Indies says the epicentre was located approximately 40 kilometres east of Port Antonio, Portland.

The tremor was reportedly felt in Kingston.
