Sagicor Bank Jamaica has appointed Chorvelle Johnson as its new chief executive officer, effective January 29, 2018.

Johnson has served in the financial services sector, holding senior management positions over the past 20 years, including First Global and most recently at Proven Wealth and Proven Fund Managers.

Christopher Zacca, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sagicor Group Jamaica was quoted in a release saying that Johnson “is a dynamic, results-oriented leader and is a trailblazer in the financial services industry with an impressive track record of success at the leadership level.”

As CEO of Sagicor Bank, she will also be appointed to sit on the board as a non-independent director.
