Forty-five Credit Union Young Professionals converged at the Credit Unions of Jamaica’s inaugural Youth Summit, at the Ocean Coral Springs Resort on Thursday, June 1, 2023, under the theme, ‘NeXGen Change Makers: Be the Change’.

The event was held as part of the Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League’s Annual Convention.

The Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League (JCCUL) is the national association of Credit Unions.

Credit Union managers selected the Youth Summit participants from members of their staff Island wide, who were all under 40 years old. The Summit’s theme, ‘NeXGen Change Makers: Be the Change’, is a rallying call for young professionals within the Movement to realise their potential as invaluable assets in developing the Credit Union Movement.
