What are ChatGPT and Generative AI?

ChatGPT’s system is driven by generative AI technology, which allows it to produce seemingly new, realistic content in the form of text, images, audio or other media in response to prompts. AI is a branch of computer science concerned with building smart machines capable of performing tasks typically requiring human integration. Generative AI is a type of AI that models learn patterns and structure, and is able to generate new data that has similar characteristics.
