A 3.2 magnitude earthquake shook several communities in St. Thomas on Tuesday night.
In a statement Wednesday afternoon, the Earthquake Unit of the University of West Indies, Mona said it occurred at 8:37 p.m. with the epicentre located in Trinityville.
A 3.2 magnitude earthquake is considered minor in relation to its potential to cause damage.
