KINGSTON, Jamaica — Insurance company, Sagicor Group Jamaica, honoured 250 team members with long service awards for service of five to 40 years during a recent ceremony at the AC Marriott Hotel in Kingston.

“Loyalty is a highly prized quality which you have all exhibited…providing us with an exciting reason to celebrate this momentous occasion. We appreciate that throughout your careers, you have dedicated your time and efforts and have witnessed our metamorphosis over the years,” President and CEO of Sagicor Group Jamaica, Christopher Zacca said.

He added that the awardees have helped to shape Sagicor into the impressive company it is, by believing in the ideas, purpose and principles of the company and its leadership.

Senior Vice President of Group Human Resources and Corporate Sales and Services, Karl Williams, who was also an honouree for 25 years of service, congratulated the recipients of the awards, noting that the annual recognition is meant to show appreciation for the years of dedicated service the team members have contributed to the organisation.

“We see the results of the hard work of our team members in the success of our company and we appreciate that they choose us as their preferred employer. This award ceremony is one of the ways we show how much we value these employees and the commitment they have made to us,” Williams said.

Recipient of the Long Service Award for 40 years of service, Manager, Insurance Accountant and Payroll Services, Curlinea Spence, expressed appreciation for the recognition.

“I am honoured and proud to be recognised in this way; I have always tried to remain focused on how I can contribute to the success of Sagicor because I love the company and what it stands for and the people here are like family to me. This award is so meaningful as it acknowledges our efforts and hard work over the years,” Spence said.
